Last week, Senator Elizabeth Warren announced that she’s reintroducing her “Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act,” and helpfully laid out exactly what the government could buy with the money confiscated from “the rich.”
Of course it totally ignores that Congress has no authority to fund any of the things she lists (something you’d hope a member of Congress would recognize) but alas…
Lack of respect for the Constitution aside, it’s crazy how the people who rail against “the rich” seem to have done quite well for themselves as “servants of the people” and champions of “fairness” and “equality”.
I mean, isn’t Senator Warren herself a multi-millionaire?
Or what about democratic socialist Bernie Sanders, who somehow owns multiple homes and has a net worth in the millions?
Or my favorite social justice warrior, Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers? She pulls in over $500,000 (plus speaking fees!) a year while kids in her union’s schools keep graduating without knowing how to read.
This weekend she was out stoking cheering crowds and denouncing “tyrants,” but I have a suspicion that it’s not that Randi actually dislikes centralized—even totalitarian—power. I’m willing to bet she’s just mad that her preferred tyrant isn’t the one sitting in the big chair right now.
This is the same pattern we see over and over again. Elites who live large off the system they claim to hate, and then demand more government control “for the children” while the actual children suffer.
Here’s Bernie, fleeing DC in first class over the weekend. He doesn’t seem too bothered by the fact that TSA workers have yet to be paid, but to be fair, it’s probably because he’s in a hurry to get to Minnesota to speak at a No Kings protest where he railed against… wealthy people.
Make it make sense.

This is exactly why we created resources like our Subtle Ways Your Kids are Taught to Embrace Socialism.
It’s a quick downloadable guide that shows parents the quiet ways these messages get planted, and how to counter them with truth, logic, and the principles of liberty.
You can grab your copy here and have the conversation over dinner with your kids tonight!
At the end of the day, the best defense isn’t complaining about the Sanders and Warrens of the world. It’s arming the next generation so they don’t fall for the same con that has allowed these fake humanitarians to amass wealth and power at the expense of others in the first place.
Right now, we’re making it easier than ever to teach kids about freedom, liberty, self-reliance, and personal responsibility at home. (Because let’s face it, Randi doesn’t put a high priority on teaching these principles to kids in school.)
For a limited time, you can get 20% off ALL Tuttle Twins bundles with code EASTER.
Whether you’re just getting started or want to complete your collection, this is a great deal on some of our best-selling resources that help parents teach their kids why wealth taxes are just theft with extra steps, why free markets lift people out of poverty, and why the Constitution actually matters.
It’s an honor to partner in this vital work with the kinds of parents who refuse to outsource their kids’ worldview to the people who lie for a living.
You guys are putting in the hard work raising a generation that can spot socialism coming from a mile away, soundly reject it, and choose liberty instead.
That’s real power.
